Introduction

The basis of my artistic style began with the techniques of pen and ink drawing. At a young age, I was fascinated by the intricate detail captured through this medium. The skills I acquired while focusing on pen and ink drawing transitioned naturally to the medium of engraving.

My adventure with metal engraving began at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where I earned my BFA. After graduation I moved to Los Angeles and continued exploring and experimenting with the art form.

My works have been exhibited at Arundel Books in Los Angeles, and the HBO Corporate Office in Santa Monica. Four of my hand-printed books are in the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library collection at UCLA. These works may be purchased at Michael R Thompson Bookseller, Los Angeles.
